Metal basket handwoven with upcycled bicycle air chambers TRADI red

We are always looking to propose innovative, never seen and useful articles, so here it is, a world premiere : 

A metal structured basket handwoven with bicycle inner tubes. Its elegance, its robustness and its design will seduce you. You will appreciate its pleasant dimensions to do your shopping or transport your food for a picnic or a walk.

The finishing with linen fibers handles confirms our desire to find local and environment respectful alternatives.

To go even further, we ordered the manufacture of this 100% linen strap from a French manufacturer.

Available in two colors (red and blue) you will have to choose between a traditional and comforting weaving pattern – which is called «TRADI» – and a weaving pattern with a more assertive look recalling the industrial universe – which is called «INDUS».

Each combination is available in two strap lengths. The long handles allow you to carry the basket by hand or on the shoulder. The short ones allow you to carry your basket by hand only.

This beautiful basket can also find its place in your interior, to store your magazines, newspapers and books in the living room.

Each basket is unique due to the inner tubes we find. Indeed, all the inner tubes used for weaving our baskets had a first life : we collect them at bike repairers from our region. Some of them may have slightly lighter tints, some inscriptions or even a patch. We decided to number each basket to accentuate the craftsmanship aspect.
